Hi everyone hope you all are well x ive been having a terrible time lately with my RA i went to see my rheumatologist on the 23th july getting very bad burning senation all over my body as anyone else experiance the same problem? he said he will keep i eye on it + as increase my dose of MTX to 25mg 10 tablets every monday. i just found another nodule growing on my left thumb its seems its coming on so rapid its out of control + ulnar deviation in both hands wearing splints. Ive been on MTX for 3 months but dosent seem to be working i am gettin worse by the min. take care everyone xxxx Graham

Hi Graham,

Sorry to hear that things are getting worse for you, I hope the increased mtx has a good effect.
Can't help much with the burning sensation but probably someone will know.

Hi Graham

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch and hopefully the increased dose with do its job. I haven t taken mtx. due to lung problem so unable to help with the burning sensation, hopefully someone will have some advice.

Hope you feel a bit better soon.

sounds like a nasty flare, Graham..................and yes, when I was on MTX I did have some burning, but it DID settle down after about 6months, hope it does for you, too
